Detailed Predictions & Analysis for Survivor Series 2016

'Fantasy warfare just got real'. With Survivor Series just 2 days away, everybody is wondering what to expect from the show.WWE has made all the efforts to give the show the recognition, it had earlier lost, of being called one of the 'Top 4 PPVs of the year', the others being SummerSlam, Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania. It's a 6-hour long programme with 2 hours of Kick-Off show and 4 hours of the main show.
The Brand Split has given the show a big boost and made the show a platform for each brand to showcase their supremacy. With not many matches, expect it to be a long and an equally entertaining contest. Let's find out what to expect and what not to expect with this year's edition of Survivor Series:-

1. Kalisto vs The Brian Kendrick (WWE Cruiserweight Championship & Division) - Well, WWE has already spilled the beans for this match. If we analyze this, WWE has been very fond of Kalisto. They even made him United States Champion for some time and with the Cruiserweight Division coming to Raw and Kalisto performing in Smackdown, it absolutely makes no sense. The Brian Kendrick is past his prime and his feud with Perkins ended in a rather sloppy way to say the least. I certainly expect Kalisto to win this match. Major Reason: 205 Live - a separate show for the Cruiserweights will be airing on WWE Network right after Smackdown Live. I may expect some role played by Perkins or maybe Sin Cara but that's a long shot.

Prediction: Kalisto wins.

2. The Miz vs Sami Zayn (WWE Intercontinental Championship) - This one's a real tough one to predict. Had it been Dolph Ziggler, it would have been a no-brainer. If WWE wants both the brands to look equally strong, Sami Zayn must win this match since Kalisto should win the Cruiserweight title. But what would Raw do with 2 mid-card championships and Smackdown Live with none? Umm. A possible solution is a Trade. Daniel Bryan has been very vocal about his wish of trading 'The Miz' for Sami Zayn or Cesaro. The managers may enter into an agreement and trade the players before this match. However, this is a really rare possibility. I'll expect Sami to lose this match. Losing to Miz might be a big blow to Zayn's career but 2 championships in Raw?

Prediction: Miz wins.

3. Raw vs Smackdown (10-on-10 Tag-Team Division) - Raw has New Day, Cesaro and Sheamus, The Club, Enzo and Big Cass and The Shining Stars whereas Smackdown Live has Heath and Rhyno, American Alpha, Breezango, Hype Bros and Usos. This looks tougher than the other Brand Supremacy matches to predict but considering that Raw should win Survivor Series 2-1, I'll expect Raw to take the win in this bout. Plus, Raw has a stronger and a more established team than Smackdown Live comprising former World Champion Sheamus. I do expect American Alpha to give a really tough fight to Raw but eventually losing to the stronger team.

Prediction: Raw Wins.
Lone Survivor: New Day or Big Cass and Enzo.

4. Raw vs Smackdown (Women's Division) - Considering the talent that Raw has, they should certainly win this match but Natalya could be a key factor come this Sunday. Charlotte, Sasha and Bayley are strong enough to win it on their own and on top of that you have Nia Jax and Alicia Fox. Smackdown Live on the other hand has only 2 established female wrestlers: Nikki Bella and Becky Lynch. Others being Naomi, Alicia Fox and Carmella. It'll be really fun to see how WWE plans to stage this match. My prediction would be Raw winning this match since I clearly don't see how they're going to deal with Raw Women's team.

Prediction: Raw Wins.
Lone Survivor: Bayley or Sasha Banks.

5. Raw vs Smackdown (Men's Division) - WWE has a habit of making the winner look lose just before the PPV. But with Undertaker's warning, it gets pretty interesting how WWE plans to chalk this one. I expect since Edge and Undertaker, both have graced the occasion to motivate Team Smackdown Live and win the bout, Smackdown Live should win this match. Undertaker has returned most probably to feud with Wyatt Family and help his brother Kane. I don't see any competitor who would be unfit enough to fight the Dead Man in Smackdown's team. Shane O' Mac will probably sacrifice himself to eliminate Braun Strowman and AJ Styles or Dean Ambrose will take the final win.

Prediction: Smackdown Live wins.
Lone Survivor: AJ Styles or Dean Ambrose.

6. Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg - This will be the main event for this year's edition of Survivor Series and there's no guessing who's going to win? Goldberg. No. It's the Beast - Brock Lesnar. WWE won't make it 2-0 with Brock and Goldberg. Lesnar should certainly win this match which should at least be 20-25 minutes long. Expect chants of "This is Awesome" and "You still got it" throughout the match. WWE is not going to make Lesnar lose, not unless it's Wrestlemania. Lesnar should hence take away a hard fought victory and establish himself as one of the greatest WWE competitors of all time.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar wins.
