Dream Match Card for WWE Wrestlemania 33 - Post Draft

Wrestlemania 33 is less than 6 months away and speculations are already going rife about matches that could take place at "The Grandest Stage of Them All" - this time at Orlando. WWE is pulling all the stops they have at their disposal to make this the most memorable event esp. when it could be the last Wrestlemania for "The Undertaker".

However, this may sound like a dream card but all the superstars taken into consideration are currently working with the WWE. So, all these matches are very much possible. So let's get started: -

           

1. 'Andre the Giant' Memorial Battle Royal - This annual battle royal gives a chance to every underdog superstar to give his best at the 'Show of Immortals'. If we look at the list of the eventual winners: Cesaro, Big Show and Baron Corbin, we see all these are muscular and very powerful superstars. However this year, I'll expect "Big Cass" or to take the victory against all the odds. Do expect some fireworks because he totally deserves it.

2. Big Show vs Shaquille O'Neal (Farewell Match) - This match is almost certain to happen at Wrestlemania this year. Big plans are being drawn for a retirement match for Big Show and there can be no better person to send him off than the NBA Legend himself. Also, Big Show has been fanciful of fighting celebrities earlier as well - Remember, Floyd Mayweather?



3. Baron Corbin vs Dolph Ziggler vs Miz vs Bray Wyatt vs Jack Swagger vs Rhyno (Ladders Match for the Intercontinental Championship) - WWE has made it a tradition to have a ladders match to decide the winner of the prestigious IC Title. This also gives them the opportunity to plan some shocker for the fans. Since the WWE has now been split into 2 brands, I expect only Smackdown superstars to participate in this kind of match. Probably, this is the reason I've included all these superstars in the mix. I really expect this match to be won by Bray Wyatt.



4. Roman Reigns vs Rusev vs Sheamus vs Neville vs Chris Jericho vs Enzo Amore (Ladders Match for the United States Championship) - Since, ladders match for the IC title has been such a hit, I expect WWE to follow the trend and have a ladders match for the US title as well. I also expect Enzo and Big Cass to split as was somewhat shown in the Draft before Wrestlemania. I expect Sheamus should actually win this match. It'll be incredible to see him be champ once again.



5. T.J.Perkins vs Kota Ibushi vs Cedric Alexander (Tables Match for WWE Cruiserweight Championship) - This match should definitely happen since it'll provide us all an opportunity to witness the awesomeness of the cruiserweight division once again. I really expect Kota Ibushi to win this match and become the most dominant champion of all time.

 

6. The Usos vs American Alpha (Smackdown Tag Team Championship) - I'll expect this match to be a coronation ceremony for the American Alpha where they finally get their supremacy that they rightfully deserve.



7. New Day vs The Club (Raw Tag Team Championship) - Again, there'll be a title change for the tag titles. The New Day will finally end their reign and submit their legacy to the best technical wrestlers in the tag team division of WWE - The Club. Finally, The Club will be Champions.



8. Bayley vs Charlotte vs Sasha Banks (Raw Women's Championship) - It'll be amazing to see this match. A match between these three wrestlers would be a treat and probably the best match of the night. I really expect Bayley would be the obvious choice for the win.



9. Becky Lynch vs Asuka vs Nicky Bella (Smack Down Women's Championship) - It'll be another great show among another set of incredible women performers. I would really expect a title change in the hands of Asuka.



10. Randy Orton & Luke Harper vs Sami Zayn & Braun Strowman - Randy Orton should be able to separate the Wyatt family alliance and get Luke Harper by his side. With Zayn and Strowman together, it'll be heck of a contest to watch. I'll expect Smackdown boys to win this one.

11. Brock Lesnar vs Samoa Joe (I Quit Match) - This has been a dream match since ages and to see two of the most physical wrestlers compete in a "I Quit Match" would be just incredible. Samoa Joe is a master of submission while Lesnar has the deadly "Kimura lock" in his arsenal. Do expect this to be the best match of the evening.



12. John Cena vs Shinsuke Nakamura (Last Man Standing Match)- It is another dream match and will be great if WWE is able to have this one this Wrestlemania. The King of Strong Style vs The Champ - this'll be a heck of a match.



13. Sting vs The Undertaker (Farewell match) - Fans are probably not expecting this but this should happen at Wrestlemania. Sting came to WWE to lose all his matches? That doesn't fit. There must be something that he would have wanted before WWE made him lose in his previous 2 bouts. I expect this to be a fitting ending to "The Dead Man" and his rival "The  Icon".

    

14. Seth Rollins vs Triple H - WWE has been building this match for ages and unless something happens to any of these superstars once again, do expect this match to happen at this Wrestlemania. I also expect "The Curb Stomp" to be back against "The Pedigree". I expect Rollins to take a win here.



15. Shane McMahon vs The Rock (Millionaires Match) - This'll be a battle for supremacy with Rock coming back wanting to have a place in the WWE as a part-timer. Shane opposes it and it becomes a grudge match between two millionaires. The Rock should win this one, not easily though - Stephanie should probably come to the aid of her brother. They have a history, remember?

     

16. Kevin Owens vs Finn Balor (WWE Universal Championship) - I'll be dying to see this match between 2 former friends wanting to establish their dominance over the other. A returning Finn Balor should pull this off and become a 2-time WWE Champion.

 


17. Cesaro vs AJ Styles (WWE World Championship) - This one's only for the love for Cesaro. Make him the champ. Please. It has to be done. The final match between the best wrestlers in WWE. I expect Cesaro to be drafted to Smackdown at Survivor Series and finally take what is rightfully his, the WWE Championship.
